Study With Me This Year!
Classes for High School through Graduate School
While I love to write, my calling is to teach. I aim to share what I’ve learned through my writing, and, of course, I’m teaching myself through my writing, since writing exposes how very much I don’t know, which drives me back to the books! This Fall, I’m offering classes for all age groups: high school through graduate school. I’d love to have you (or your children) join me for any of these classes!
Kepler Education
I’m offering these classes for the 2026-27 academic year. The deadline for Regular Registration is July 1!:
Old Western Culture - The Greeks (grades 8-12) - Wed - 8-9:30am, PT
OWC - Early Moderns (grades 10-12) - Fri - 10:00am-11:30am, PT
Description: All classes cost only $900.00 for the entire year. Each class meets only 1x a week, for 90 min. Kepler Education utilizes the “flipped classroom” or “Oxford tutorial” style. Each week, students watch one or two lectures. Then they meet 1x a week as a class with the teacher to discuss what they read in a seminar-style format. This model reduces screen time, and gives students more time to pursue jobs or interests outside of school. Old Western Culture classes at Kepler combine history, theology, literature, and philosophy, to help equip faithful leaders for the future.
Bio: I have over 20 years of teaching experience (with homeschool experience as a student myself, long ago) and am the father of five children, who were homeschooled at various times. I am also a published author who holds a PhD in Historical Theology.
Testimonials: Here’s what parents and students say about my classes:
“Mr. Soderberg is a great teacher. He always explains things extremely well. His class is really fun to be in. It is my favorite class.”
“He does a great job teaching, is very patient, extremely kind. He’s understanding when things happen. He’s very smart and knowledgeable in everything he has taught us.”

Redemption Seminary
Redemption is a fully-accredited seminary where I’m honored to serve as a Mentor-Professor. We serve students of all ages and church/denominational backgrounds. In one of our Certificate or Master’s degree programs (M.A.B.S. or M.Div.) you’ll watch lectures from leading evangelical scholars and work through assigned readings, recording your thoughts and answers in a workbook. We’ll meet 1x a week, for 30 minutes, to talk through what you’ve learned and answer any questions you may have. This is competence-based learning, not cramming to to pass exams. You can study theology and the Bible without going into debt and without locating across the country. Study with me or pick from our growing list of qualified mentor-professors!
The Alexandrian Institute
The Alexandrian Institute grew out of BibleMesh, where I’ve worked for several years. TAI is an exciting new development that offers fully-accredited Certificates, Master’s degrees, and PhD programs, in partnership with Union Theological College (Belfast). We’re excited to have Dr. Kevin Vanhoozer, the prolific theologian, serve as the Director of Postgraduate Research! This August, I’ll be leading the launch of the Great Books in Theology Reading Group. This is not a degree program, but you can earn credit for one of our degrees if it whets your appetite for more. Think of it as a way to wade into the shallow end of the pool. We’ll be reading through some of the timeless classics of Christian theology, meeting 1x a month. Join us! You can learn more about TAI here. Or message me through Substack and I’d love to chat with you!

Great stuff! Anyone would be lucky to study with you.
